1996 Surveillance eyes

Post by ideabolo »

here is a little update on this beauty!
the one in the wiki says surveillance left but is the right eye. depends if you name it from the viewers point of view or the printed eyes!? http://thegiant.org/wiki/index.php?titl ... ldid=10640

however, here is one for the wiki. the "real" left eye or the new "right" (if you want to keep it that way).
wonder why this one is an edition of 73 & the other is 80?

& here is a pic of the pair. i think the 1st one ever posted:

Now the search is on for a giant, realistic-looking nose to hang on the wall between the two prints-- congrats!

I struggled with the left/right eye position as well. I think it is really the other way. Dunno for sure. Can you post it both ways so we can compare?

I'm guessing he just flipped it around to save some cash. It's hard to remember these days that back then he was struggling for sure.

I noticed the the one on the right (if you were looking at them) has giant written in the bottom right corner above the red. I cant tell if the left one has Giant written in the bottom left.

at first glance, i agree. but look at the first photo posted in the thread... the tear duct looks to be on the right side of the eye. i think he's got them switched around in the portfolio photo.
