I'll post my thoughts on this again.
Isn't it true that Shepard signs (and hence dates) the prints as they are sold and shipped? If so, wouldn't some of the prints that were released late in the year not sell out until the next year? Haven't some of the prints been for sale for over a year (or a few)?
I know someone mentioned they ordered a Stoked print recently, can whoever that was let us know what it's dated? I grabbed a Jay Adams recently that was dated '03, but I'm thinking that's an anomaly as all 3 (Adams, Stecyk, and Shepard) would have signed them all at once.
Does this make more sense to anyone than "maybe he got tired and forgot what year it was halfway through the run"?

i believe stoked is '03 as well...
i have a floral set that has six of them signed as '05 and two signed as '06. all are 51/100. i emailed dan a while back (and jwaddle) about this. the set was confirmed legit and it was noted that sometimes shepard signs around the new year (the holidays) and might slip up on the date..

That may have been the case back in the day, but I'm pretty sure he currently signs them all at once. If you were to buy a Studio Number One print from the site now, I would expect to see the print signed '04 rather than '06 (or soon '07).
