about an hour after this i came home and got on smoothly - i didn't have to clear my cache or cookies.
anyone have any ideas as where and how something like this happens? anyone else experience the same?

totally strange... earlier today i tried to pull the site up, but got a 404 error saying search.php wasn't found (i usually pull up the page to view new posts when i am online). so i tried to get to the root at forum.giant.org and was redirected as shown in the code below! oddly enough, http://www.thegiant.org was available to see as usual.

funny - when i came back on to view the site, the history in FF's list when you start typing said "Hello from Apache
".does apache typically redirect you?!
