have the outgoing URL links in posts open a new _blank window? Seems that the code has it set to refresh in the _current window.

Yes. Use the [url] BBCode (opens in a new window) instead of just cutting and pasting a URL into the body of a post (doesn't).submethod wrote:have the outgoing URL links in posts open a new _blank window? Seems that the code has it set to refresh in the _current window.

Re: Is there a way to...
Been wondering about this as it seems to mainly happen to me on this forum and not others.
So, it's due to how people post links within posts? It always bugs me to have to back up to return to thegiant.org.

I don't mind hitting the back button, but I don't always have the fastest connection. I would like links to youtube and such load up in a separate window so I may still woller over thegiant forums.
I'll have to get used to control/click.
Woe is me...........
