What where you doing when that happened?

i've gotten that a few times while trying to load forum pages, but it's usually "fixed" within a few more reloads. haven't gotten it since last week, though.

I got that too a couple times. Reloading the page cleared it up.

Yeah, that's what happens when cpanel freezes and I dont have my laptop/ being in the metalshop/ having portfolio reviews.

But that is the main thing that is lame about having an unmanaged VPS. It is my responsibility to do upkeep.

Did the down time/black out effect the "View New Posts" page?

Not working the same as before.

I have this message in my inbox:

"You have 2 private messages currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available."

Iv deleted messages but i still cant view the 2 messages, i can see new ones though.

The problem is that there is a hyperlink that's not plainly visible.

See the message you wrote in quotes, above? ("You have 2 private messages...")?

Go into your mailbox and mouse-over the "Release all on-hold messages" part. That's the hyperlink.

Click it and the messages will be released.

this happens to me every once in awhile for no apparent reason. when it does happen, it is not all images, and is always images on new posts (so something my computer hasn't "seen" yet). if you just right-click on the word "image," you can view it in a new tab/window. this seems to help my computer "see" the image the next time i check that same post.

I've been getting this today when attempting to navigate the site:

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Yeah, looked like it was a transient server restart.

Something weird is happening for me right now--it looks like something is broken related to how the site renders. It looks 1997. :D

illyanadmc wrote:i don't want to be rude, but everyone posting bugs needs to be patient and know that adam is working on it. he is doing a full-time internship right now and does not have access to the forum while he is at work (unless he is being sneaky, but i am sure you understand he doesn't want to be caught goofing off), while at home, he is working on getting his portfolio ready and managing this site plus another time-consuming site that is school-related.

he is not ignoring any of this. i am also waiting for him to fix something that has changed the way i read the forum (cannot open links in new tab without the originating page also opening the link), but i haven't bugged him about it for days and am patient enough to realize he is doing his best.
A similar problem has resurfaced (at least for me). Every link I click goes to the outside page and I lose the Giant page I'm on unless I hit the back button. It used to open a new window when you clicked a link. Using Safari 4.0.4 on a mac. Thanks.
