damaged print from eb...
so i got a damaged print from eb and it has edge creasing from jumping up and down in the tube. No idea why someone would roll a $1200 print in kraft paper with no tape and not even put issue or any paper in the tops and bottom...
I found a paper restorer who said they could fix the damage for 150, but they have a 4-6 month waiting list.
Should I file a paypal claim try to get a refund, or keep the print try to get it fixed and try and get some cash back?
I paid the guy 800 plus i am supposed to send him Rose Shackle (that's not going to happen)...
What would thegant.org members do?

Re: damaged print from eb...
file a complaint + reserve the right(but announce your intention) to file a chargeback with the CC company(you did pay with CC?)....
you have 100% the upper hand in this situation and are bargaining from a position of significant strength(if you paid with CC)...
BTW, 4-6 months would have me looking for another restorer...That time frame is just too long as it takes you out of the chargeback zone without knowing how the print will turn out....
Finally, if you do ship back it must be tracked with signature confirmation. Has to have signature confirmation.

Re: damaged print from eb...
thanks! I love it man! it came in the world's ugliest frame... someone paid a bunch for this wierd 3d linen liner box.
It was Thunder. Settled it with the seller He keeps the 800 I keep Rose Shackle and Thunder. Then as a side note I sent him Juxtapoz factor for Laguna.
I decided it wasn't intentional, although I can't how it get how someone would package it like this. It is currently with a paper restorer I know. Interested to see how this turns out.
