WTT: Have 2009 Holiday Print
WTT: Have 2009 Holiday Print
Hi
I have the 2009 holiday print and am looking for trades
This is super rare as it has never been on sale to the public
(will add pic shortly)
Looking for older print to trade - let me know what you have
(PS - I am in the UK so a trade would involve shipping to the UK)

Obey Giant definitely frowns on somebody who wins a print and then tries trading it on the forums.

Though I haven't really thought about it, I was fortunate to win a contest ... and received a print that I already have. I wouldn't think it so wrong if at some point made a trade for something else (yes my interest is vested). Not really flipping, is it?

Me too. The contests should be for fans not flippers. Some of the contests were for stuff that I already had so I didn't participate to give others a shot.TheOmethod wrote:Obey Giant definitely frowns on somebody who wins a print and then tries trading it on the forums.

Especially someone who is an actual friend of Shepard's and can't even get one. But I digress. I guess I have to pony up and start trading garbage to get it.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about people who run forums for MBWFOODRAP wrote:i think some of yall have way too much time on your hands...
Re: WTT: Have 2009 Holiday Print
I see this has started a bit of a debate
In my defense all I can say is that when the comp was on it was not clear what the print was, I knew it was the holiday print, but had no idea what the print picture was.
The pattern prints are not my favourites, but it's "horses for courses", so I figured why not let someone who really likes this pattern print take this in trade for an image that i really like but cannot afford.
.
Is that so wrong?

No, not at all. If you think about it, you're trading it so getting something of equal value and something you would value more personally and the other person has something they're not interested in seems fair to me.
