Sorry, this doesn't make sense. Shepard would have to buy them and then re-sell them...

There is nothing wrong in flipping in my opinion!
Iv never done it myself but i would sell a print straight away if it was getting silly money for it and i was'nt that keen on it! Some prints i just would never sell, it depends on what it's worth to you personally!

If it was'nt for flippers i would'nt have some prints that i really wanted and that probably goes for everyone on here! Id rather pay a premium on a print on ebay that to know that id never have a chance of ever gettiing that print again!

Likewise if you want to buy a print to trade it for something else you prefer then why not? It makes sense to me!

Do you think you would have had a better chance to buy those prints at a fraction of the price you paid flippers didn't snap them up?

I think prints (not only obey prints) would take a lot longer to sell out if people knew they couldnt make any money on them if they needed to...

I have never flipped a print.. but that being said who here doesn't appreciate their collection more because it continues to rise in price?

Maybe........ but then who's to say that your still going to be able to get one!
It would be interesting to find out how many people on average are on the obey site trying to snag a tues print! Maybe there are lot more people than you think?
If you took away the flippers would'nt the prints just get bought up by other collectors as well! Thus resulting in prints being harder to come by meaning even higher prices due to lack of availability! Without flippers you might not get that print that you REALLY want!

Someone should compile a list of all the times that this flipping issue has been discussed. As it is, I am only in this thread now because I thought someone was ranting about Jason's latest paintings.
