eBay gone wild!

Post by tpeazy »

OMG! WTF! I wanna pound some of the eBayers trying to cash in on the success of the Obama series' prints. I understand people dropping top dollar on "Vote" and "Progress", but all this other fake s**t and selling "Hope" offsets for $1000 is just w-r-o-n-g! I wish people would research a little first.

Also: One of the Offsets with a "Buy it now" has a sig. date of '07

Weird right? One buyer noticed it too - look at the 'ask seller a question' section

I admit, the print does look legit - for that kind of price it should be! $1600!!!

That's funny, that is exactly what I suggested that you do.

When? Which thread?

On a side note, the prints I have bought from you have always been mint and well shipped - so thanks

OK, found it "AP vs. #'rd" thread
my reply:

Dude, I for one apologize if I in some way offended you. As I wrote in another thread I have always had a great buying experience at Ducky Waddles and the prints are always as described and well packed/shipped.
I was new to the board when I started this post and in hindsight yes, I should have PM'd you to ask this question and in the future I will.

Many thanks and keep up good work :!:

I agree, people are paying some crazy prices and it's only going to get worse with some of the copy cat stuff coming out on ExpressoBeans. One thing I can't stand is that the copy cats and flippers like to say that part of the revenue will go towards the Obama campaign, but no one is telling/verifying how much.

I disagree about the Vote and Progress Vs. Hope thing though, different strokes for...
They're all nice, limited, and official Obey prints and the only people who'll really mind are the flippers worried about decreasing profit margin.
