I received my Hell Houndz a couple days ago and the only addition to it is 5 white tiny specks of spit coming out of the barking dogs mouths, rather disappointed to be honest.
Though they did put in the extra effort to give me the same number as my City Girl 76 which was cool :)

i just got home from my dad's and picked up some tubes.

one of which was the "hell houndz" print.

to my surprise, i pulled out a handwritten note on graph paper from jimmy saying that i was 1 of 2 people in the world with the special gold print!!!!!!

i'm so stoked.

it's really sweet.

will post pics later.

Like Willy Wonka. Except more street. And less psychedellic.

It feels like 1996 and I just pulled a Topps Finest Kobe Bryant rookie card worth $1200 out of a pack of basketball cards. How long before people are getting their artwork graded?????

Wow. Big props DZEL. I like the Gold idea with this series of prints as each one is unique to begin with.

I know this discussion has raged elsehwere, but I much prefer City Girl 150 to City Girl 76. The handwork by Choe makes all the difference and I can understand its appeal, but to me City Girl 150 is by far a stronger image.

Glad to have it at the framer's right now :)

I agree. I wish the 150 was created with the same technique as the 76 even though Ajax did a top-notch job on the printing.

Please post pix when you get yours all framed up.

The biggest reason I like choe is that it's more fine art than street art. I'm not a big fan of all these stencil/photoshop/naive art that is coming out of the wood work. It's refreshing to see images that I couldn't create myself with a computer and an exacto knife.

Choe or Ryden

Post by blackheart »

I cant decide which to buy i have been looking at my collection and it is getting a little lop sided with sheps work and i wanted to broaden my horizons so to speak. What do you guy think is a better investment a ryden (general Sherman) or a choe (hopper). If i am spending 500-1000 dollars on a print I'd like to know its going to go up in value.

I think they are both skilled artists and both make some cool sh!t but i cant decide which to go for. Let me know what you guys think.
