Just in the nature rubyliths are what's determined when printed.
I think now a days the rubys are printed directly from computer files so hand cut rubys are not utilized in the process anymore. The nature of what you guys are getting is extra rubys. The original ruby burns into the screen and the aspect is burned out so by the nature of a rubylith you guys are just getting extra rubyliths that were printed. If you got the actual silkscreen that printed the prints than you'd be getting the original ruby because the actual rubylith is burned into the screen.

Thanks, JG.

I was wondering. Is this a 2 layer rubylith? Is the rubylith underneath a lighter color red and the one on top of it darker?
or is the one underneath the original as the ruby above gets darker if you place them on top of each other?
I think Shep scans the ruby's and make them larger with the computer ads some color and logos and print them on transparent film to exposure for the 18x24 screenprints. The ones he cut are not burned into screens cause they are a lot smaller.

Does someone know if these are 2 ruby's? Thx
