FAKE OR NOT: need your expert opinion

So I found this print I want to purchase, but the signature looks a little off. I compared it to some of my other prints and pictures I've found on this forum, and I still can't come to a conclusion.

"Shepard" looks okay, and the "96" looks okay, but "Fairey" looks off. And this is definitely not a sig from '96, more like around '99, which is understandable since back in those days the prints didn't get signed until it was about to leave the studio.

What do you think?

It's a little weird, but I'd say real. The Y in Fairey is the only letter that looks off and I'd chalk it up to just a bad or quick sig.

I agree with what Solar said. You won't know for sure for sure, but it looks legit. The Y just got out of control a bit....

I've seen the print. Looks all good to me. I think it is back dated but prob closer to ' 97 than '99. Snag it!

Sounds right. Does the "in" disappear when viewed at different angles? You won't be able to tell until it is in your hands.
