Shep's does Kermit?

Post by Wheels »

My wife is a huge Kermit fan and before getting into the purpose of this post, let me say that the recently released "Muppets - The Green Album" is just stellar! Weezer & Hayley Williams' tribute to Rainbow Connection is the manifestation of my wife as a song.

Anyway, I opened the disk and what I saw caught my breath. Could this be Shep's doing? If it's not, it looks very Shep-inspired, IMO. Below are some scans of the case and insert that struck me as OG. I especially like the apparent paster of Animal!

I hope I'm not alone in seeing the similarity. The first one looks like bootlegs with names dropped where OBEY should be. The style of the second resembles Shep...when I first saw it I wondered if maybe andre was behind the Muppets. The last one's maybe a little more Faile or someone with a strong graphic novel style, but it only seemed right to include it.

It's strange, but I'd actually enjoy seeing a Muppets print series.
