Whats the criteria behind print run sizes and priceing?

Post by Fattyramone »

First off this isnt any kind of complaint or whinge but just a curiosity thing of mine.....

What elements are behind the decisions to do one run of prints (eg Led Zep celebration day) as a run of 300 and then other times a run of 450 for other prints (eg C'mon everybody) ....or 750 for the Eazy E print?....or 1500 for Big Proof

Why the pricing diffrence between prints ?? ....again , ive no complaints I think Obey prints are always good value for money all things considered.

I think i know the reasons behind a lot of my own questions but id be intrested to hear any concrete answers.

I think Shepard could easily sell out ALL of his runs at 450 nowerdays ,if not more , so why the decisions to sometimes limit the numbers?

Cheers
