Framing Question

Post by TonyFnB »

Hello everyone first off I'm a newb on the board and my name is Tony! Nice to meet ya!

My ? Is I have the 25"x38" Obey Offset Poster and I don't have the cake to get a custom frame ATM so I'm getting the 27"x40" frame from Target....first how should I set it evenly in the frame and have it stay there so it's directly in the middle? Obviously not glue or something...will the pressure from the backing to the plastic shield keep it in place or? 2nd ? Do you think a white background or black would look best for the excess 1" all the way around....thanks I'm new to this so bare with me ha

Black backround probably would look better, it would make the frame look wider. To keep the print centered you need large photo corners like these:

I can't tell the size on my phone but I know they come in different sizes, you want large ones for a larger print. At least an inch wide and tall.
