CHINESE BANNER DATE

hi everybody,
just received a chinese banner print, i'ts from 2001 but it's dated 02,
print was issued late 01, maybe shepard signed them only when sold ?
it's a high number...
anyone have an idea ?

I have an AP Lenin from 97 that is dated 98. I'm betting it is just like you guessed below...sold in 02 so it was dated 02 instead of 01. Does the signature check out?

MIne is # 92/200 and is dated '01. I think back then they were signed as they were sold.

mine is # 187/200. print and signature seems legit, and provenance is truthfull, will probably contact obey to get sure ...

Sorry, I meant does the signature look like others from 2001-2002. Somewhere on the board someone, I think Halopigg, posted pictures of Shep's signatures from every year from the mid 90s through 2012.

yes , comparing to other prints of that date the signature is the same, there is one for sale on ebay, and it has the same signature ( but dated 01)
