Quick question for you guys with fine art (canvases, wood, or metal pieces) that has been framed by Shepard - what you doing, if anything, to protect the piece itself from dust, etc.? The wood frames from Shepard are nice but nothing protects dust from settling on the piece itself or the top of the frame. I've seen some people protecting them by hanging acrylic/glass cases on the wall to encapsulate the piece but that just looks bad.
Any thoughts?

Re: Protecting fine art
I keep what I have out of sunlight but other than that they are displayed as originally framed.

I rub my naked body up against the frames monthly. I find the accumulated body oil helps seal the frame from the elements.
