Removing a Dry Mounted Print

Post by Obeybro »

I recently discovered one of my prints that I had bought framed is dry mounted. I know this is a somewhat common issue, and was wondering if anyone has ever had a dry mounted print removed? Does it affect the print in any way? I shot Poster Mountain an email and I'm hoping they may be able to help. I just want to make sure that theres not any massive risks involved, i.e. the print is removed but it ends up looking like hell. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
