Buy and Sell could be turned into one. Supply and Demand could be one board.
On another board, Genmay.net, we have a Deals and Steals section. People list if they want to buy sell or trade like this:
In the title of our post, we're required to begin with WTB, WTS, WTT, FS, or FT.
Want to Buy, Want to Sell, Want to Trade, For Sale, or For Trade.

It's a really simple system and it works great.

Less information for people to swallow is better.
This is true for a new site as well as an established one.
At first, the site should have a small amount of options so that a person can find everything easily.
Later, it can either stay the same, or evolve to meet the needs of the patrons.

Plus on a messageboard, the customers are the content, not the board itself.

i agree with this, to an extent. i have visited forums with way too many topics, and it can be overwhelming and confusing. however, having too few is kind of pathetic. but i think too few is better than too many. the forum looks good right now - i think it might be best to keep the "supply and demand" area the way it is for now.
