Signed lithos for me. Love that 24x36 size. Amanda was someone's date at the Emmy's last night too lol

Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
When is someone besides Amplifier gonna say something about this release? Lots of people will be upset when shepard posts to instagram!

Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
It's been shared on Instagram now lol
Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
Is anyone salty on Instagram??
Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
None that I see. The signed lithos are moving slightly slower than expected.jjttdw wrote:Is anyone salty on Instagram??

Amplifier is a design lab that builds art to amplify the voices of grassroots movements.
Uhhh. Guys? Did the person that writes your press releases get fired? That's still the #1 way to disseminate information.
Virtually zero coverage on the net about this campaign. Someone screwed up.

The Rewrite the Law LF sold out, the others have barely any bites so far.

Law is the one I would pick but I am a bit surprised the others only have 6 gone.

That's really the only one that has much artistic merit. The Karate Kid and Tracy Chapman ones just look like portraits with a quick posterize filter.jjttdw wrote:bsharp wrote:The Rewrite the Law LF sold out, the others have barely any bites so far.

Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
The Winter BreeAnne image is the bigger miss for me because of the fist. The angle of the arm is unnatural IMO. I think in the source photo that hand is on her chin.
Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
Hand aside (lol), Winter's face has the best look imo. Amanda's eyebrows have that odd outline shadow, but it's the only one I like as a whole... must be the architecture. A better source photo for Taboo coulda been chosen.

Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
I agree about the unnatural arm angle-I noticed it yesterday and tried to hold my hand/arm in front of me like in the poster-jjttdw wrote:The Winter BreeAnne image is the bigger miss for me because of the fist. Couldn't do it-to get the arm to be that vertical it needs to be outside the shoulder-
Just my two cents-

Re: Kickstarter: We the Future
So they cut off the arm in the top image and photoshopped it into the bottom. Either of the images above would have worked better.
