FORUM AUCTION: Grenade 1998 25/100
*Since this is first auction I'm posting a bit early to answer any questions or work out any kinks. Please reply all to thread for any process questions I didn't hit or DM me direct*
What: Grenade 25/100 Unframed
Opening bid: $1500
Auction Starts: 11AM Pacific, Wednesday, November 24th.
Auction Ends: 7PM Pacific, Wednesday, December 1st.
Details: I’m the original owner, purchased from Obey in 1998
Condition: Buyer is responsible for evaluating condition. This print has been stored flat in a portfolio. All corners are crisp. Small wrinkle in white section of border (see detail).
Shipping: Will ship international from Seattle within 24 hours of auction ending. Buyer responsible for shipping charges. Default US shipping costs are $15.00. International shipping costs, expedited shipping or additional insurance are the responsibility of the Buyer.
Payment: Venmo unless otherwise agreed upon. BUYER must pay within 12 hours. OTHERWISE, seller has the right to take the offer of whoever was under you.
HOW IT WORKS:
Bidding: To bid, reply to the thread with the amount of your bid (starting with the opening price), additional bids must raise by a $25 minimum bid raising increment.
Winning: Winner is the bidder holding the highest bid at time of auction close.
No Snipe rule: If a bid is made within the last 9 minutes and 59 seconds of the auction’s scheduled closing time, Popcorn Bidding kicks in. Popcorn or dynamic bidding automatically extends the scheduled closing time for an auction item by 10 minutes after a bid is placed. Each subsequent bid resets the clock to allow bids to be made for another 10 minutes. Once there has been no bidding activity for 10 minutes, the bidding is considered completed and no further bidding is accepted. The auction for the item is then closed and the person who placed the highest bid wins the item. Sale is final: NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS.

It's sometimes hard to discern in photos so let me ask: Is there some discoloration in the white margin area to the lower right of the edition number?

To Jak's question, there is a light discoloration by the numbers. Not sure what it is. I will see if I can get shots that are any clearer today and will post ASAP.

The discoloration by the numbers is hard to capture but did my best using a few different settings.
Also, when you angle the print under bright light there is some residue on the print. Not sure what it is. The spots don't present when flat and won't be visible framed. I took detail shots under bright light with flash. Worth noting that I think the pics, lighting and angles, make them pop more than it presents, but I'm including for full disclosure. If only everyone on eBay took this many photos.
Pile on with any other requests. I'll be checking regularly ahead of auction closing tomorrow and will answer everything I can.

Naturally, directly after I posted the pics I went back with a very lightly damp cloth and most of the residue came off. Im a big comic guy and am well practiced in cleaning expensive paper so was ultra delicate. Sorry for spin up. If requested I'll shoot more pics and post.

Soon! Auction closes at 7pm unless any bids come in within the last ten minutes. Few additional pics that show how well residue came off.
