It always takes time to warm up to new "software"...

-I figured it was 'just me' and not wanting to change.... - i have a hard time taking everything in on new version...
the new forum does seem to move much quicker.... im just much slower at trying to figure out where I want to go now.... ( hopefully this old dog can learn a new trick!) ec

Yeah, I do like the look. Though, it is harder to navigate. And, not being able to access the forum from my cellphone is a bummer. i.e, some links are just not clickable. I'm going to give it a little while before I truly make up my mind.

Hope it's made a little more readable. That's my only complaint.

Surely there is a monkey around here that knows a little something about the best fonts for reading web text. In the meantime, I'll poke around and see what I can find.
Adam, what are the current font types/sizes?

Re: I preferred the old forum template
I think it's the way all the different elements go together. some of the text seems to run together. need some differentiation, between posts, sigs, etc. also, I don't like how large each post title is. kind of distracting. sorry for nitpicking, but hopefully I'm helping out.
maybe I just need to get used to it though.

The problem is this is not just a new look. It is completely different software. (this version was written from the ground up) I cant use the old look on here.
You guys are seriously welcome to make a new style for it. Or even take one and mod it up.
Ill even set up your own ftp server so you can all work on it, and test it out.
If anyone who has a mac and knows css, you can use cssedit to work on a better css file for the site even with out having access to the server. If it turns out better and more legible, ill gladly use it.

That's much better, the post title thing I mean!
