Jerry, don't fan the flames. You can't win message board flame wars - they just aren't fair fights.

Message boards are just as much for sharing important relevant information between members as they are for mindless senseless sh!t talking between those same members.

I am one who has posted public support on you on this forum (and others). In fact, I am hesitant to even post this because for I'd prefer this thread to die. However, please realize that in some of these board battles, you do draw in the haters with how you make your posts.

A simple statement such as "buy from a reputable art dealer" coming from a reputable art dealer comes off as arrogant. Despite it's simplicity, you leave yourself wide open for criticism and (mis)interpretation. It's often hard to reflect tone when all we have it text to read. Thus, tone is easily perceived incorrectly. Conversely, a wordy and argumentative response invites more argument especially when you start throwing back personal attacks. Mud slinging fuels board flames.

I realize you feel the need to defend yourself and your business from the junk people talk on here but the manner in which you respond causes more of a ruckus than the senseless comment that likely would have been ignored had you not said anything. I hope that most users here (new and old) know that you do your best to run a reputable business that sells a quality product.

My advice (respectfully) keep quiet on issues that do not directly concern you. Rise above.

"For those who collect OBEY - this is the print that everyone at http://www.thegiant.org couldn't stop talking about - 107 messages and over 1,700 views!"

LOL - does his ridiculous claim of this being a fake print and the ensuing discussion on this board somehow drive up the value to a collector? wtf. I emailed him telling him it looked fake and asking if he would vouch for the authenticity of this print.

That is one of the stupidest eBay remarks I have seen on OG prints.

True, but there's such a thing as shameless self-promotion and for this you take the cake.

Well that is untrue. You did start the fire by claiming that the print was fake.

The photos do not do this print justice! It is printed on a birch fiber card stock, somewhat cream in color in black ink.
