I thought this thread had to be a joke.

Have you ever done any street art yourself?

Shepard puts his work up to get a wide message across it's not good you tearing it down to be seen only by who looks at your sleeves!

If you can't afford to pay for prints etc as i cant either... I just got an old sketchbook and i keep all my stickers inside... Some old skwl ones i've payed less than $2 for... so build up your stickers!

But i think your tearing them down for investment....

would it be ok to say in this thread that back in 1996 i had thoughts of removing bomb, mustard & navy, zeppelin and leninist from the streets around SF's civic center?

back then i had no idea where to get these new mysterious images

Try using a wallpaper scraper. You can then use it as a weapon when the mob forms outside your house. :)

It'd be funny to see someone try and remove one of Shepard's pasters. He uses a "wheatpaste" made from a plastic solution that impregnates the paper and basically "bonds" it to the building, wall etc. You'll have to basically crack it off.

You know, this is interesting because theres this really amazing graffitti piece on a decrepid old wall in Detroit I pass on the way to school and I hope that maybe one day when Detroit tears it down or I might be able to keep it myself (The whole wall). But I doubt it. LOL. as far as the pasters go, Id advise to leave me dude. Im not on a high horse or anything, just saying you should leave it, nobody wins when people start doing that.
