The Amazing State of Arizona...
The Amazing State of Arizona...
(I updated this thread to include all of Arizona's wonderful contribtions to the nation and to sane political discourse, feel free to point and laugh, and be happy for those of us that live here.)
Trolls Beware...
So yeah, it's just about to become illegal to be annoying on the internet.

Woah... try reading some of the comments on that article!
Re: Trolls beware...
I will guess it will go to the courts shortly after they try to enforce it.

Sounds familiar, more of the same from our wacky legislature.jjttdw wrote:I will guess it will go to the courts shortly after they try to enforce it.
The circus is never ends down here.
Re: Trolls beware...
Is it possible for a Butthurt Form to offend such that it would cause a retaliatory Butthurt Form to be submitted?

uhhhh, apparently they have clearly read the bill because that's exactly what an internet troll is. Someone needs to fill in this Arizona Rep. with some internet lingo. The fear is that the bill would prohibit hateful comments on news and social-media sites, amounting to a ban on so-called Internet trolling.
The problem: The bill won't do any of that, its sponsor told CNN on Wednesday.
"I think they're absolutely mistaken," Arizona Rep. Ted Vogt said of bloggers and civil liberties groups that said the bill would censor the Internet. "They clearly haven't read the bill. This law targets a course of conduct where an individual is harassing, threatening or annoying a specific (person)."
again, that's what a troll does.Vogt said Wednesday that the bill would be amended to say those harassing communications must be directed at a specific person and must be "unwanted or unsolicited." Those updates did not appear yet on an online version of the bill viewed Wednesday morning.
