size does matter
size does matter
I use google chrome and have the ability to zoom in on websites. Until yesterday the giant was always pretty small in size and tough to read. Now I have it zoomed in and it's like a whole new world. The text area takes up my whole screen! It's great. What browser do you use most?
Who's got my old stickers?

fun.
I do use the ctrl + combo now with firefox on pc...just thought this might be crisper.
but I'm about to crossover to a mac...so I guess I'll get to relearn stuff.

what is the command for zooming in on firefox? Or is it a preference setting? In Chrome you just use the touch pad like an iPad. (I have a laptop)

both safari and firefox are command(⌘) shift + to zoom in and command(⌘) shift - to zoom out.halopigg wrote:fribhey wrote:You zoom in with safari and I believe firefox as well... Not sure about IE

safari also works the same way with a touchpad, either double tap in an area to zoom in on that area or pinch with two fingers
firefox does support zoom in/out on a touchpad but it's not on by default. here are the directions to turn it on:
1) open firefox and enter this in the address bar and hit enter/return: about:config
2) in the search field on the page that just loaded type in: Gesture
3) double click on each of these preferences and paste in the cmd_ value in the popup box:
browser.gesture.pinch.in -> cmd_fullZoomReduce
browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
browser.gesture.pinch.out -> cmd_fullZoomEnlarge
browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> false
OR try a plugin like this for firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pinchy/
