Re: Mustafa Kemal Ataturk - 2008 FYI
Just bought the Kemal Ataturk Gold Edition on Ebay. Did I hit the big one or what?
The link below is not from the auction that I purchased the print from, but is just to show the image of the print, and what someone paid for the same exact print from a prior auction. -SDD

I followed the auction on ebay.. but it is not a print for me, so I didn't went for it.. but judging from the prices recorded at EB, it was a really good price you got it at.

Btw. for the Wiki.. on the ebay auktion seller stated about the gold version:
"Not available to general public - printed as an exclusive to friends and supporters of Bant, a Turkish magazine.
ONLY 50 OF THE GOLD EDITION WERE PRINTED! "
It's 24x36 and this was signed, but maybe not all of them were.

here is the full run 1st hand info on my Obey Ataturk commission:
1 Canvas 48 x 64"
1 Retired Stencil Collage 48 x 64"
2 Silkscreen on Wood 18 x 24"
2 Silkscreen on Metal 18 x 24"
2 Rubyliths 9 x 12"
20 HPMs 29 x 42"
100 Silkscreen Prints 18 x 24"
10 Sets of 4 Bronze, Silver, Gold & Red Metalic Prints on Glossy Stock - 24 x 36" signed & numbered)
500 each Bronze, Silver, Gold & Red 24 x 36" Pasters
+ Tons of Stickers & folded poster that came with the magazine...
funny that artnet is giving an estimate of $1800-2000 for a signed Paster.
even the 300 seems a bit high to me when you can get a paster set for around 150 on evil bay...
will send pictures of all pieces for the wiki as soon as my berlin show is finished...
cheerz,
Selim

Thanks Ideabolo! I read the whole thread from back when to try and figure out what was what since I was also interested in the paster. this makes it very understandable!!!
Re: Mustafa Kemal Ataturk - 2008 FYI
Thank you for your correction Ideabolo!.. fantastic that you hold so much info. =)
Well, never rely on information from eBay if you can't cross check it elsewhere I guess.

If Ideabolo knows anything it is most certainly the correct printing info for the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk print.
Who's got my old stickers?

Now on the other hand, the S/N silkscreen print edition of 100 did quite well on auction today:

Does anybody have experience with Artnet and the legitimacy of their bids?
