Help Id a print and its value

Post by maddenrm »

Hey guys,
Been a while since I was into collecting and was clearing out my portfolio and found this.
Measure 16" tall by 18" wide, can someone tell me the name and give a guess at the value, trying to sell off most of my prints? I think its called yellow bomber maybe??? Thanks!

For what it's worth... a rare-ish, old print with pin holes it's hard to say because the market has really softened up. A couple years ago you could have gotten top dollar but it seems people are more picky and less willing to pay a lot for older prints. Just a guess but maybe $1500 on the extreme high end if you're lucky but probably a bit lower than that.

I sold my yellow bomber with pinholes for 7 or 800 three or four years ago Can't remember exact price I think I was a bit cheap so probably 900 I would guess

and three or four years ago was when the prices peaked for older prints. prices seem like they've either stabilized or dropped a bit.

Thats a really nice print. And Easy and Con are correct. Though pinholes are more or less accepted for Shep's older prints, there have been a few that have commanded more money in better condition.

That link ConArt shared should help you. Best of luck.

I love the way he painted the mat to extend the print The one in the frame is 18x24 and didn't have tack holes but was a little beat up. I think the only print I own with holes is a Stalin/Lenin print.
