Quick question about zero feedback buyers

Post by circa77 »

I had an art print listed on eBay at a sale price of about 30% higher than my guess at current market value. It was up for a month or so and then someone bought it. A buyer in the US with 0 feedback and a new account. The sale is over $1000. What risks do I face? How can I eliminate the risks?

Thanks in advance!

I usually try to cyber stalk the person to see if any red flags pop up. I sold a couple prints to a guy who paid top dollar ($2k) and had zero feedback. A little cyber stalking identified him as a Harvard faculty member which made me breath a little easier.
