Anyone here going to be able to go?
Obeygiant.com says he will be dropping knowledge. What that means I have no clue, but it would be cool if someone here would be there to find out.

I cant go to both events, because I'm still working on my cloning machine, they are to far away from each other to go to both events on the same day....

and as far as the wedding, I'm sure this one wont last, so I'll go to his next wedding

oh, haha, i didn't realize they were on the same day. that's kinda silly!

just make a cardboard stand-up of yourself and have someone take it to the wedding with them. the bride and groom will probably be too busy to notice it's not really you.

i didnt stay for the signing, but i was there for the lecture, that was awsome, he talked about how it was awsome to see ideas show up in news papers for the first time, how it made him think about what he was doing on a national level, how one sticker made him think about how advertiseing worked, how an entire coumunity worried, about these giant stickers before they meant anything, and how the movement meant nothing at first, and later became an addiction for him, he spoke about when he made the che print for the first time... he said a few days later he was wearing a t-shirt of the print, and a guy said "viva che" how that made him realize that people dont even pay attention to what is right in front of them, the guy was so used to seeing che, that he never realized it was andre, it was cool to see him just talk about advertisement, he said that he realized that obeygiant is now a brand, but how that is the beauty of it, how he feels that obey only exist to show others that it is ironic, how obey is a movement about advertisement, how they never take out ads, but still move units, because people feel that it is counter culture... and alot more... but i'm tired.. so im gonna go to bed...

sweet, sounds like it was a fun time. I saw him do a similar lecture at the LA art fair a few months back, had slides and everything....didn't realize he'd be doing any speaking yesterday....ah well.

Anyone order from the site?
If so, has it shipped.
Just wondering, because ducky waddles has them, but says the signed ones will not ship until after july 15th.

Yes, I received my book last week after ordering from the site.

The Waddles books ship after that date because he is having a book signing at his location on that date or the day before. He is probably taking pre-orders.
