Well, I have to disagree...a lot of what is discussed and complained (and complimented) about I personally discuss with Shepard. Don't forget that he and I work together nearly everyday of the week. So, in a sense, using this forum IS an indirect way to talk with Shepard Fairey (via me).

If it was that simple ca77, they wouldn't be offering prints for bad service, would they? besides, this is a discussion board about OG and you really have no idea who I know and who I've talked to and who I've emailed. Your whole notion that you have to be friends with an artist to get respect and service is interesting... and by interesting, I mean stupid.

"if you want to be taken care of by a modern artist you need to talk to the artist and become a friend to them in order for them to be a friend to you. what you're asking for is for is shepard fairey to track your internet orders and ask you if youd like to be served better on account of it.
you gotta talk to shepard fairey, not thegiant.org"

looking back at how i wrote this, its completely stupid.
i meant to say something more like:
if you want every poster, you have to put yourself in a higher position than all the other click fast buyers (everyone).
I have an idea.

Don't count on it....he doesn't do much of anything online except correspond via email, but he can barely type! Maybe I will let him post from my account sometime.

Quick question about the tracking numbers and cancellation notices...

Usually, we get three emails for every order, right?

1. The original paypal receipit (from paypal)
2. A "shipped by Paypal" detailed noticed (from paypal, w/ tracking info)
3. A "UPS Ship Notification" (from UPS, minimal details, w/tracking info)

for those who received tracking info, but then got a refund, did you get all three emails? I ask because I ordered at about 5AM (PST) and everything seemed normal (got all three emails). But when I attempt to track the package (sent on the 15th), I don't see any movement on the UPS page (only 'billing information received').

I ordered two prints, with the intention to give one away. Recently I moved from CA to NY (college) and have been doing my part in spreading the word. Worthy kids seeing OG for the first time, or 'recognizing it' from something--and show interest--get a little present from me  So far, I gifted 3 books and 2 prints. must spread the propaganda.
Those others, who are out of the small group,
the big majority of the population,
they are called "the bewildered herd."

the tracking info on ups sometimes doesn't get updated. if you didn't get a refund by now you're fine.

My status was stuck at "Electronic Shipping Info Received" for a few days and then it swapped to International Dispatch today but the actual dispatch happened on the 18th, so you don't have to worry.
