Re: COST
that is awesome!
while we're on the subject, here's cost's contribution to the showpaper newspaper box show last year (which was stolen from the street after 2 days and later re-claimed by cost and the organizers of the show):

this is one of those 'frankfurter yeah' moments. I love it.
Re: COST
While we are on the subject. I found this between a port-o-potty and a brick wall near Union Square NYC about 10 years ago.

Found??
Re: COST
Honest to god found it. It's a crazy story. Walking down the block. I knew it had been about 20 feet up in the air and there had been some work done repointing the bricks on the side of the building/parking lot (at least 25 feet up in the air). One day I am walking by and the scaffolding and the piece are gone. I walk up to a portable john that is real close to the wall and see a 4' square piece of masonite. Turned it around and Bam! I later had the opportunity to discuss this treasure with Cost and he was really happy that I still had it. He had nothing left of what he and Revs put around town except for the original paste ups and a bunch of stickers. Apparently he had a 20 foot long Revs canvas that he threw away some years ago.
Some good pictures here.

Re: COST
Let's not forget Revs and Cost also were pioneers in the sticker movement.

Great story...i was a very young boy in the mid 90s but in the early 2000s they still had a lot of cool stuff up in the city.
They were definitely a huge influence.
