Re: Ai WeiWei
as collaborations go it's a pretty important one though - i mean they designed the beijing olympic stadium together. the print's a relatively large edition so not surprised that's still around but can't believe that the stool isn't long gone. if i had that sort of cash i'd be all over it for investment potential alone, guess you never know thoughpassword wrote:They are design pieces and they are collaborations to boot, so they are not desirable to collectors.
anyone seen 'Never Sorry' yet? pretty excited for it
Re: Ai WeiWei
Agreed. As niche a market for this particular subject material, Ai Wei Wei will be considered the most significant artist of our time. With that said I'm still not buying it.halopigg wrote:i was thinking the exact same thing. dude could go down as one of the top artists of the half century. Would be nice to touch something......

Re: Ai WeiWei
I am more than happy to add this piece to our home.
I love the mixture of the conceptual architectual design with the abstract visual affect of the print layout.
I would love to hear what the three of them say about this print.

I think it's kinda boring but probably need to see it in person. A lot of architectual stuff doesn't scale down very well.

Really regret passing on the studio print that he released a year ago or so.
That was/is miles better than this one. Can't justify paying for the signature on this rather poor image.

Haven't been following his releases or anything really. Though, I always like looking at his stuff. Love the conceptual elements. Where were these sold and at what price?smartussi wrote:I am more than happy to add this piece to our home.
