This one is an excellent example of Basts "key foods" style
Given the image the large size (35x42) and the use of oil paints to me makes this peice a steal for the price

hey molotov, that's a really nice piece. question though about unstretched canvas work in general, how should they be displayed? would stretching them ruin the piece? should they be float mounted? a saw a few lister unstretched paintings a couple years ago and while i really liked them i couldn't figure out what to do with them.

- i believe, it is meant to be stretched, and doing so would not damage or devalue the piece at all. You would figure with a piece of this size, shipping a stretched canvas would be ridiculously expensive, and the up most care in handling from the shipping company would be needed (to prevent damage). Shipping rolled = no problem at all... (for the most part). ec

Agree with "easy". This one was not stretched because of the amount of hassle that it would take to ship. I would say most unstretched canvas pieces are meant to be stretched. It would not ruin them or devalue them in any way.

Totally missed the Bast drop yesterday. Oh well, at least I spent Christmas with my friends and family rather than on the computer.
