The Sunsets came out in 03. There are always a few Hecox series floating around each year though. The car series went off last year for $2500.

Thanks they're all OG, no reissues here! The Tommy Guerrero is signed, met up with him in 2000 at Playstation Skatepark for a TV show I was art directing. Really cool down to earth guy, all the Hawk decks are signed too.

The ARTSPROJEKT x OBEY re-issues are up on the OG site news section:
http://www.zazzle.com/obeyskateboards/gifts

They've had the same 8 decks for some time now at that link... but this one caught my eye right away:
Image

I hope they release the grenade design! Does anyone know if it's long gone, or coming up (or have any other info)? Thanks!

Also new?

Already released. :-)

And, the 2nd deck is an old design that I believe came out 4 years ago or so.

Here is a post card of some of the original decks before these reissues.

I wish I knew how to get hold of the wheels shown here.

Was somewhat disappointed by some of these re-issues as they are open editions. Curious to see how much difference there is between the old set that I have and the new editions.

I haven't seen it available yet. There are 8 designs available through the link, but this was one of the ten images posted on the Obey site. Sooo, I hope it's coming up! :D

Is there a way to tell Artsprojekt decks reissues from the originals?

(Talking to himself) I was able to find out from someone at Artsprojekt that their open-edtion reissues have just natural wood decks while the Obey originals are stained.

Just buy the reissues and stain them yourself to make a "original" issue.

Indeed it is. However, the $130 S&H charge is a little excessive!

I was asked to participate in a Skate Deck gallery show and do an installation of old 80's decks, and newer 90's through the present, decks.

So this is what I came up with.

The show isn't set up yet but there was supposed to be a lot of painted decks as well as an installation of 60's and 70's decks.

I'll have some pics when the show is done If anybody is interested.

Those installations look great, it'd be a real treat to see all of those decks in person! I'd love to see some photos of the others, too.
