Some of you may of heard about the "Supercans" Festival that Stickee very successfully put on. He was kind enough to invite me to paint there. Here are some work in Progress shots of my piece. I mainly used spraypaint but there is a bit of acryilic paint used also.

Well, maybe you could post a couple of gems from the past, couldn't you?! ;)
So far, you've got awesome work on here. I thoroughly dig that Supercans piece! Thanks for posting some in progress photos.

I'm suprised she liked some of the stuff at the show. Her taste in art before came in the guise of a Wolf painting with some text like "mark of the wild" below it. You know the one.

But yeah , i have to agree. Was an awesome piece and after seeing the digital pic too i was really impressed.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys!

Here are some pictures i just remembered i took of the stencil, from the 1st print out in two parts to the cutting process. (which was an absolute nightmare!) This thing was so flimsy to work with, was a real nightmare trying to line everything up in place to spray.

I can't believe the procedures. Very labor intensive, but worth the outcome in the end. Bravo!

Thanks! Thinking about it, it was quite a time consumeing piece! About 2.5 hours drawing it in Adobe Illustrator, 8 hours cutting and about 6 hours painting. Although if i had'nt been drinking Cider all day it would of been half that probably.
Also there were some good artists at the event it was cool to stop what i was doing and have a look at some of the other guys work like SPQR and Dale Grimshaw. Those guys work was stunning!
