Making money off this is lame IMO. I thought this was quite clever as something to put out online but to do a print, is weak.

Completely agree. To make poke fun at it with a photoshop job is funny, but to make money off someone else's art is just plain lame.

And the collar magically appears!

Guess what? The print is still complete trash. It's not art; hell, it's not even a good Photoshop. Are the dog's right legs up on the curb or something? It looks like he's walking (floating?) on a plane separate from the one on which his owner is standing. This kind of sloppiness can slide when an image is Photoshopped for a quick laugh on the internet, but as soon as the image becomes a print for sale, it just sticks out like a sore thumb - ESPECIALLY when the only actual contribution the artist made was aligning two images created by other artists.

This is nothing but a money grab designed to cash in on the hype generated by the release of a print created by a real artist.

think you have missed the detail where the dog is actually standing on its own line... its called perspective.

also no one pointed out that the streak 7.3 cm in is slightly darker than the other, that the white on the shoe goes 1.2mm over the black line and the other detail you missed is the small detail of being a plonker.

Just put this together, you could spend days pointing out weird stuff with other prints.. heres a starter for 10...

This print made my wife and I laugh (in a good way). You should release this as Christmas Cards (and send me a set for free for giving you the idea).

Didn't see a jboy thread, so posting here :D :

JBOY NEWS
--------------

VERY LITTLE HELPER

It was about as ready to go as Rudolf the Reindeer on Santa's special sauce, but due to reasons beyond our control the planned release of Very Little Helper has ended up like a drunk Uncle.

We have been unable to release Very Little Helper as a print to sell to the public or sell for charity to to several issues with people who wear ties. We are disappointed and sorry to all those that were interested and we tried our best to make it happen. DOH.

HOWEVER... WE DO NOT* CONDONE DOWNLOADING THE FULL SIZE (60x60cm), HI-RES, PRINT READY, PERFECTLY FINE TO DO YOURSELF 15 DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF IT. WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT* RECOMMEND IT...

1. WE WILL GO AS FAR AS NOT* RECOMMENDING THAT THE FIRST 50 PEOPLE TO GET THIS PRINTED AND SENT TO JBOY WILL GET THEIR SIGNED. THERE IS CURRENTLY NOT* ONLY 30 PLACES LEFT ON THIS LIST.

2. TO NOT* DO THIS, WE RECOMMEND NOT* EMAILING JBOY THROUGH THE SITE AND TELLING US THAT WE SHOULD BE EXPECTING YOUR PACKAGE.

3. WE WILL THEN NOT* EMAIL YOU BACK AND LET YOU KNOW HOW YOU CAN DO THIS.

4. WE DO NOT* RECOMMEND THAT YOU INCLUDE A FULL RETURN ADDRESS LABEL AND PAYMENT FOR THE RETURN POSTAGE.

5. THIS IS NOT* FIRST COME FIST SERVED.

We would like to make one wish and that is anyone downloading the images makes a voluntary donation to our Christmas Charity of Choice.

Donations to Poplar Farm Rescue Kennels (the link is at the bottom of their page) are very much welcome.
The kennels are a 'no kill' dogs home based in the UK and are hopefully among the growing number of Kennels that do not put down healthy dogs, especially around Christmas time.

VERY LITTLE HELPER AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD HERE FOR FREE

There are several online sites that will print this for you at the correct 60x60cm size.
This site is our recommendation: UK & EUROPE U.S & WORLDWIDE
