Random Obey Sighting

Post by rhombus_77 »

So I am at my parent's house watching a little MMA and my mom walks by and says, "hey, its Obey!" She rocks more than me!

I think he has worn a couple of different ones on the show. It always makes me happy when the people around me start getting into the "OG state of mind" :D

A place called 'The Den' opened up next to the Chapman campus. They carry all of the indie type clothing lines including OBEY. Within a few weeks I've seen several obey shirts around campus, especially the war by numbers shirt. Had only seen a few on campus before the store opened. Guess it's the 'cool' thing to do now.

Obey shirts are a commodity now. They are in all major department stores. There is nothing subversive about wearing Obey clothing. It is simply clothing.

too true. there is a girl running around my wife's workplace in obey gear all the time. as soon as my wife mentioned shep the girl was very confused...then my wife just said "you have andre the giant on your hat!"

and i agree that the goatee is weak but i certainly wouldn't tell frank mir, breaker of tim silvias arm and submitter of brock lesnar, to his face

You know the MTV show where the parents pick out new boy/girlfriends for their kids... Parental Control or something?! There was this one guy on there (just caught the ending) the boyfriend "candidate" (looked like the typical High School d-bag) had an Obey shirt on, then the girl picked her old boyfriend... Then it showed the parents at the end... and the girl's Dad was wearing an Obey Tshirt. Then a couple days later I saw "New Obey Clothing" in the window at Zumiez at the mall by my apartment. That was all just too much to handle. I locked myself in my bedroom with my Obama Progress and we just cried it out. It feels good to just let it out sometimes.

Nope, the print was in the archival sleeve, safe and sound... Maybe I over exaggerated a little. It was probably more like this:

I saw all the Obey clothing stuff and thought to myself "Wow, this stuff is popping up everywhere"...
then went to sleep (in the same room that the Obama Progress is located in)... I'm sorry about all of the lies earlier.
