Off the beaten track Shep prints that are still available

Post by Fattyramone »

We all know just how quick a newly dropped print sells out in minutes from the obey store , so lets dedicate this thread to all the prints THAT ARE STILL AVAILABLE from other sources other than the official obey store

These Osaka popstar and Juicehead prints are still available , $50 each , signed by SF and the band members

http://misfitsrecords.cinderblock.com/l ... print.html

Why is it that some of these prints get kinda bypassed?

Anyone know of any more prints still available for sale to the general public?

The updated Led Zep print ....

£30 ...not signed , but must be (?) official SF sanctioned?

http://ledzeppelin.fanfire.com/cgi-bin/ ... u=LZE53567

This one is a great buy for UK buyers , the P&P is only £3 .....comes with a great quality certificate too

These are the only 3 I know of ...there must be others out there too?

Yes , im aware that this is a very recent print and ergo it follows that there is a more recent thread dedicated to it , but the whole point of this thread is to point people in the right direction of still available prints that are slightly off the beaten track......not to re-disguse their merits or lack of.

It seems stupid to leave the Led Zep print off just because its got its own more recent thread.

That's kind of the whole point of prints having their own thread, so people don't keep posting the same things over and over again.

For example, here's another print that's available and had it's own thread:
http://www.joeescalante.com/Site/Campaign_Extras.html

And the reason it's still available is because it's fugly. People don't want fugly prints which is why they get bypassed - that should answer one of your questions in your first post above.

The zep print is nice and I'm surprised it's not sold out yet but I think the edition size out numbered the demand for another zep variation, especially for one that's not signed.

I also want to add the fact that 3rd party resellers/shippers have a HORRIBLE track record for shipping prints poorly resulting in damaged prints - galleries are no exception.

Sod it ,

forget I ever tried to help people buy or find something they may have missed or wanted...

im realativly new on this forum , but not new to forums and on every single forum there is jobsworth who tries to set the tone of what should be said , when it should be said , if what is said meets THEIR criteria of what is said , done or even thought about.

Looks like its you on this forum.

Just let the thread die and have done with it...you win , you know whats best.

I'll consider sending you a PM every single time i have a thought or need the toilet asking if it meets your approval.

Pardon me for breathing.

I've been on this Forum for a bit of time now ... and I think this idea for a thread is excellent.

Each print having its own thread to discuss the print in detail is irrelevant to this thread's purpose. No thread offers an easy reference point for the simple facts of what prints are available scattered about on different sites other than OG.

This is useful, practical and fills a gap. But the thread might best belong under Off-Site Commerce.

This is an open edition, but pretty cool none the less. Make Art Not War.

Agreed with Jak88, good idea for a thread.

A couple of things:
1. Thanks for bringing an idea to the table. Always nice to haev some fresh ideas
2. Frib comes across a little harsh sometimes, but if you stick around long enough, you will see that he is a valued member of the forum. I think it is a great example of things not coming across quite right in writting.
3. Relax. Just as you are sharing your opinion, Frib is sharing his. If you are entitled to yours, he should be too. No need to start slinging names around when someone doesn't quite agree with your idea. While I think your idea has merit, and Frib clearly doesn't, I am not sure your reaction was entirely warrented.
4. Jobsworth is by far the best name I have seen someone called in this Forum

I WOULD NOT BUY the green or blue Noise Pop posters from 2000. I ordered both and they are trashed. Not sure about the one from this year.

Lots of pieces available via Carmichael Gallery. Not sure what their prices are like, but I'm assuming there's a significant gallery premium on these.

Dude, you are totally right. I used to try and be involved around here. I've tried to be funny, tried to be rude, tried to just be inquisitive, but this forum is pretty friggin' cold, and folks are full of themselves. They're not very friendly to newbies here. I barely even look at this forum anymore for that very reason.

Alas, people that suck at real life, rule on the web!

Nice topic BTW!

Price cut on the Jordan prints over at http://store.upperdeck.com/store/Basket ... 5207?Args=. They were $499, now $149. All 3 versions are available.

I'd get it if it were the dual signed print.
