im realativly new on this forum , but not new to forums and on every single forum there is jobsworth who tries to set the tone of what should be said , when it should be said , if what is said meets THEIR criteria of what is said , done or even thought about.

Looks like its you on this forum.

Just let the thread die and have done with it...you win , you know whats best.

I'll consider sending you a PM every single time i have a thought or need the toilet asking if it meets your approval.

Pardon me for breathing.

Dude, you are totally right. I used to try and be involved around here. I've tried to be funny, tried to be rude, tried to just be inquisitive, but this forum is pretty friggin' cold, and folks are full of themselves. They're not very friendly to newbies here. I barely even look at this forum anymore for that very reason.

Alas, people that suck at real life, rule on the web!

Nice topic BTW!
Couldn't have been said better! You pulled the words/thoughts right from my head :) thx!
don't be deterred by the forum turds, you'll figure out who they are, there isn't many of them but they're here and very active.

not sure if anyone was keen on the Peace Corps print, but checking the site just now....saw that the donation amount has been reduced from $1000 to a measly $500 to score it. And now you know.

I've been saying since they first came out that $1000 was way too high and they weren't going to sell out. I even told staff at PC HQ that, but nobody listened. So I wrote OG directly and the kind, kind folks there sent me a Peace Corps print (an A/P) for free. Thanks again guys!

(It probably helps that I was a Peace Corps volunteer, used to work at HQ, and ran the Peace Corps event at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival last summer).

It's a great print. Too bad all the RPCV's (Returned Peace Corps Volunteers) I know couldn't afford $1000. Maybe at $500 they'll get a few new customers.

I would do that for you, but depending on where you are the cost to ship a print to Europe is now close to $35-40 via USPS....
