stantonwalsh wrote:I had forgotten about this print after first posting on it a few months ago and dealing with ordering problems. But, in a recent Obey order I received a Freedom to Lead sticker (that I've been since using as a bookmark...I know) and got all psyched about the print again. The sticker actually looks great. Anyway, tried ordering the print again after previous order glitches with their system, and lo and behold the order went through and I received the print this week!Fattyramone wrote:Ive still not recieved my Burma's yet , nor my Rollins neither ....i anticipate them arriving sometime this week.maitrepanda wrote:Does anyone received the Burma freedom print ?Despite my earlier "thumbs up" at buying them , and getting two congrats emails telling me my orders had been accepted Ive now just recieved a friendly email from the Burma site telling me my orders are void because the Credit Card system they use is not geared towards overseas purchases.
Having said that , the lady who wrote to me has offered to let me buy them via Paypal.
Will let you know when she replies to my replying email.
I will also mention to her the troubles you guys seem to be having in getting through the buying process ....she did mention it was set up to deal with USA and CANADA only.
If yes can we have any infos on the print ( quality, signed or not) )
Haven't flattened it yet, but I can say a few things. It doesn't seem to be litho, if fact seems more like it's on the standard type of stock used by Obey or at least something similar (I'm no expert on paper though). Peeked at the image too. Looks more like an offset. Very happy about that! Two things that I was less pleased with: no craft paper so a pain to de-tube and and had some dings/bends from not being rolled very well. Not surprisingly was unsigned and unnumbered (boo).
All in all mostly pleased, especially for the price. Might look into seeing if they can do a better job with packing if I decide to re-order. Will update re: image quality soon.
Finally got around to flattening the Freedom to Lead print...and it looks great! I think aside from being poorly packed as I mentioned above, it's a real nice, quality offset print. Yeah, it's unsigned and unnumbered, but for $15 can you go wrong? Recommended.

That's a pretty awesome deal considering the print is basically free. Of course it's a tiny litho with a huge edition, but it's a great image and signed.

Per Obey recent headlines:

Re: Off the beaten track Shep prints that are still availabl
I got my Drop in the Bucket print today, it was really cheap which was nice, but packed horribly. No paper and they rolled it the right to left, which I've never seen done before. Has 3-4 bends around it but they're all smaller ones and don't show up when it's in a 18x24 frame. Feels wrong to complain to a charity and ask for a replacement, plus my stuff is mainly to hang on the walls and hold onto for 30-40 years so I'll just let it go.

$245.00 DONATION
Signed / numbered edition of 400
Donation is tax deductible as provided by law
You might want to check they can properly ship and are still really available. It's been up for over a year.

Re: Off the beaten track Shep prints that are still availabl
Haven't seen these posted and don't seem to see them on the wiki, but here are 3 24x36 unsigned prints available for $60. There are also signed versions, but they're asking for insane money for them.

Have a bunch of shirts/stickers/etc there as well.

Re: Off the beaten track Shep prints that are still availabl
Nice find ..I've picked me up a set.
Anyone know if these are newly released with a minimum of fanfare or if these are oldies lost in space and just drifting around aimlessly through the cosmos?
***EDIT***
I think I've answered my own question , these are new 3rd Dec 2014

I dig the Caduceus print. Maybe I'll pick up an unsigned one later.
