Cross posting from EB and Instagram.

Picked these two old school Shep prints up local here in Copenhagen today. The seller had no idea what he was sitting on, payed equal to $170 for the two :D
Never thought I would see a monkey pod up close in person, and then a copy was stored away here in tiny Denmark, amazing, so surprised. So so happy

Image

When seller is listing with these images it awakes mixed feelings, the first is uuuh please stop hurting the sweet print, and next is, I can probably get it cheap.
Image
Image

Because of sellers handling of the prints they both has minor center boarder creases. And the monkey pod has lost a little ink.

And then a question, other than a few spots with missing ink that is clearly from mishandling/storage (not showed on this picture), there is missing some ink on the tree, on both leafs and tree. I think it has always been like that, and it's from the printing process, but not sure. Anyone that can tell if it's from printing or from mishandling ?

Cheers

My monkey pod has a few white (light) spots where it looks like the ink either didn't hit or got lifted. If I remember to this weekend I'll take some pics and post.

Monkey pod is hands down my favorite print I have. Can't believe prints used to be $20 and sit for months. I think that was the first one I saw sell out within a week

Great score on the Monkey Pod and Overnight Delivery prints!
I used to have a green Monkey Pod and it did have some of those imperfections
you speak of but it looked normal to me like it was supposed to be distressed. I
liked the look of it.
I currently have a gold Monkey it is doesn't have any of that distressing.

- I just framed and matted these two pieces today. The best part about them is a board member whom I had never dealt with, just asked for my address because he wanted to send me something, -out of the blue, these two pieces show up! How crazy is that? Mad props to the member! Forever indebted, I hope to return the favor someday. EC

Different yes, they are on material that is mounted to a board, oddball size, 12+ x 16+ inches ( which is great, since smaller is better for me at this point with wall space ) - and limited, only 5 of the POW , and 10 of Love Unites. They look great, now to find the wall space! :D

Finally picked up my avatar print! Took me years to find one and finally had the funds to get it.
