This past weekend I briefly visited a room that had three faithful reproductions of Duchamp's Fountain. Not only did I notice, I used one of them. It's so interesting because the work tells the truth.

If anything, street art is the MOST LITERAL FORM OF ART! if street art has made any negative impression on society today, its that it has made every 13 yr old with $100 and an eBay account into an art know-it-all.

First you'll have to jump through a ring of fire, walk on hot coals, and fight a death match with Gondor the Impaler.... Then MAYBE you'll get a print in your shopping cart.

Prolly 350 each colorway.
When there are other colorways released usually the run size drops, like ed. of 300 each print when there are 2 colorways. I'll go ahead and estimate ed. 200 per print this round.
Im gonna agree and guess 200 each (but I wouldnt be shocked if they up'd it to 250).

I think Shep's needs some re-education in life outside being a father, and a international success. I miss gritty shep.
I take it you haven't got kids carbomb! Trust me ,you get plenty of "gritty"
Surely it's pretty healthy for someones creativity to change as their situation changes, (unless you're U2 of course and then you just repeat the same song for 20 years).

that doesnt actually make sense
He is saying that Shepard is being inundated with parenthood and riches. Therefore, he is not as “gritty” as the Shepard who perhaps was living a more modest streetwise life of yesteryear.

And I'm saying that parenthood and riches hasn't made shepard fairey less "gritty". I know whats being compared, I think:
this sort of thing
compared to this sort of thing
Saying shepard fairey should go back to the kind of prints he used to do is counterintuitive. There's no good reason why shepard fairey should use the formula he knows works (russian propaganda) when he has the opportunity to explore new aesthetic avenues. The prints aren't everyones favorites each release, but its pretty obvious that the dude has some idea about where his work is going; it's pretty weak to disrespect him by saying he's no longer "streetwise" just because he's made a shitload of money and has been blessed with a family.

He must have been drunk when he wrote this.
Is he referring to Shepard's needs? Or did he mean Shepard's knees?
