I agree. Honor the purchases now that the dust has settled.
What's the big deal? People spent hours trying to give you their money.
There is nothing to honor. They never were for sale as far as I can see. People proceeded at their own risk.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for staying with it on this, I know it was tremendously
frustrating for you and for everyone involved. They never made it
onto the site because it was so jammed and we were hacked
(1st Post!)

Does he also say when they will finally go on sale?

"hacked" i believe confirms my suspicion... i can't see anyone using "hacked" to refer to using the right URLs... seriously - when has it ever been that the prints did not sell out in 30 minutes? someone has basically launched a DOS attack and that is what has led to all this frustration. the a-track example does not apply - in that case everyone was waiting for the print to show up for sale.

if they can script ticketmaster purchases... they sure as hell can script a zen cart purchase! or at least script up something that prevents anyone else from getting through.

ebay would solve this INSTANTLY.
I'd wait to hear what 'hacked' actually means to the author. Though Jason's post was pretty clear about what obeygiant.com thought about the exploits.

illicitly adv 1: in a manner disapproved or not allowed by custom; "He acted illegitimately when he increased the rent fourfold" [syn: {illegitimately}] [ant: {legitimately}, {legitimately}] 2: in an illegal manner; "they dumped the waste illegally" [syn: {illegally}, {lawlessly}] [ant: {legitimately}]

The items were accesible through a publicly available url.
Actually the URL said the item was unavailable. You had to deceive the system to make it think it was available. You cant act like it was there ready for the purchase.

Its like hopping the fence at the kmart garden center to steal something and saying to the police "They left it outside!"

Thats right, because I bought that Bink, Danzig, and Fear Bush last week. I have already stated why I sold a bunch of prints, my collection goes way beyond just Obey prints, are you going to point out the prints I bought too?

That is exactly what I am talking about... This Backpackpunk just goes around putting down other people for things they did years ago when they did not have the best jusgement. In the meantime, he is selling prints all the live long day (which I don't have a problem with either) but to start blabbing about how much debt your in....C'mon, that is not anybody's fault but your own. I've been told by a member on this forum to stay away from this guy because he had a shady transaction with him claiming to not have received a print and then getting a refund. Something is rotten.

I'm obviously biased on this because I spent a lot of time trying to get the prints.
The prints were said to be released on Tuesday and the technique everyone used to get the prints is the same technique that a few of us use on a regular basis for Obey releases.
I claim ignorance. I didn't know the print didn't drop. I used the same process that I always use and was successful.
Honor the purchases.
