That would actually be kind of cool if he weren't such a whiney d.o.u.c.h.e. :(
Maybe someone in green and white should be on one of those prints

I really like it. I think it is funny that it costs $100 more because it says MVP instead of Kobe.

Cool colors but the price is almost as big as Kobe's ego.

Why is the MVP one more than the KOBE one?

Your logic makes sense if "MVP" was hand inscribed but it's not

It is inscribed as MVP. On the MVP print KB24 signs it as MVP and on the Kobe version he just signs his name.

I don't know if Shep has ever done anything to hurt my opinion of his work like this before.
Unless I view it as him lumping Kobe with Stalin, Mao, etc...
Then it fits.

What difference does it make? Especially since Shep doesn't really pull or burn his own screens anymore.

We're talking about silkscreens, not paintings. The entire point of a silkscreen is to mass produce images with indistinguishable visual differences---the individual input an artist may bring to the piece ends before the first screen is pulled. There are no signature Shepard Fairey visual cues to distinguish a print he pulled from prints pulled by any anonymous print lackey.

My point exactly. Hence the question: what difference does it make whether it is a litho or screen print?

Too many people associate Lithographs with movie-poster type prints; cheap, non archival, glossy, etc. Such is not the case with this Kobe print or other high end lithographs that notable artists have used such as: Dali, Rauschenberg, etc, etc, etc.

i thought the MVP was just referring to the type on the print itself.
