when Iam thinking in an abstract term, or someone else's money, I see this print as a healthy investment. When I get real, I haven't been able to check out four times now. What to do? what to do?
was on youtube this morning and this was at the top. gives a pretty good background on the shep/kobe project and how they worked previously on the kb24 logo. pretty cool.

i noticed they have a Shep only signed version on the site now. limited to 100 and 349.99 price. not bad with the discount, if you're into the whole kobe thing.

Unless I view it as him lumping Kobe with Stalin, Mao, etc...
Then it fits.
Kobe is a narcissistic sociopath.
Shepard has become star stuck.

Mine showed up yesterday . . . . DAMAGED! You'd think for a $1000 print they'd at least roll it in some kraft paper. I hope they can get Kobe to sign another one for me . . .

I'm sure to anyone outside the art community, a poster is a poster (just throw it in the tube - it's all good). Man, that sucks they didn't wrap it....

let us know how they handle the return... should be interesting.

Agreed.
Maybe they can send you that giant banner sign they unfurled on the office building.

That sucks. Someone I work with picked one up and it came damaged as well. It was rolled in a thinner than tp tissue in a standard tube. The first thing I thought when they unrolled it was exactly what admonkey said. Upper Deck have always been the authority in sports memorbilla and this was a joke. There was also spots on the back of the print where the paper was worn.
