Anyone got their own Mat Cutter?

Post by slidingaround »

Just wondering what Mat cutters some of you guys have, as im thinking of buying one to start framing my own stuff. As iv seen a few DIY frame jobs from you guys i thought here would be a good place to start. Iv been looking at small hand held Logan ones, they are ridiculously expensive though, any Logan or other brand recommendations? Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks for the link, iv had a look through there already. I was kinda just seeing what different models people might have and if it makes that much difference or not. Any tips on where to buy online would also be usefull.

I use Logan 750 simplex plus, I over paid for it at local art supplies store. I think it's a lot cheaper online. It works well for 4ply mats, anything more than that, not so much.

I have the intermediate logan. I got it for cheap from dickblick. The square bar on it isn't very square, but it works.
