okay, so i guess we can push the deadline back another week, but people need to enter! i don't think it's a problem if extremeimages77 enters even though he's putting up the prize - it's not like we've ever had prizes before (right?), so this is just a nice gesture on his part. so, send me those entries when you have them, people! new deadline is friday feb 27th at 11:59 PM!

Ihope you enter something extremeimages! (If you have something ready) It'd be a bummer if you didn't join because you were putting up a prize! In the past people have been entering in their own contests since the beginning, I think. Winner picks the topic, so they really should enter. I hope you are in for this one, man

Dorse, AK47, Extremeimages77 and myself... I think there should be at least four, right?! I say no more deadline extensions, unless it's for a couple days and a few entries are very close to finishing up their piece. If there's only one entry, it should be posted as a flop, they win, and we move on tot he next topic/contest What do you think of that?

as of this morning, when i last checked my email, i had not received any new entries since we gave the extension. so, as far as i know, the only two entrants so far are the people who sent them in before the original deadline. if someone sent theirs in after 8AM eastern this morning, i don't know about it yet.

i agree that deadline extensions don't seem to be working as well as we all wish they would. maybe we should be more firm about the deadlines in the future.

We could be half way into a new contest by now. I don't know, I think it'd be better to always keep new topics rolling and (as an artist) always trying to work on new stuff (we've waited an extra two weeks now for no added entries). These contests usually make me work on stuff that I normally wouldn't so it's always great to hear what new topic there is. I'm not irritated at all or anything, just writing my thoughts down to see if anyone else is in the same boat.

thanks for the extension , i ws hoping the prize would have got in some more entries..but guess i was wrong..should of known..no biggie...id really love to see this grow to what it once was..
