Post by zuck26239 »

What's the most practical way to go about printing an image for a large stencil (18x24 or 24x36)

I usually divide the image up into either letter or tabloid size in Photoshop then print all of the pieces out on whatever size paper I plan ahead for, then I tape them all together for the full stencil image.

just download BIG PIC. You can print any size you want, but you have to paste them together.

Print shop. Engineering or Architecture firm. You need a plotter.

couldn't you buy a cheap overhead projector, tape a piece of paper/cardboard to a wall, and trace the large projected image onto that?

Also, I am sure they would be able to print it out for you at Kinkos.
