You know, I'm from Orange/Los Angeles County and I have only lived in New Mexico for about 2 years. It is amazing here! I bought my house when I was 25 years old. I bought my dream car (Subaru Impreza). And I got a beautiful Husky dog. These are all things that I could never afford living in a slummy studio back in California. Dont judge New Mexico on its name...it is really a beautiful place.

Sorry, I also wanted to add that they are only material possesions but dreams are easier to achieve when you dont have to pay $1,400 in rent to live in the ghetto.

I am currently living and working in Orange County, CA and I totally hear ya about the rent and not being able to afford much. If I didnt have so much family here, Id probably move!
This is a photograph that I took from the Beautiful Losers show at the Orange County Museum of Art. It is from taking multiples without advancing the film roll.

Hope your not from the US with that ignorance.........
LittleJohn- Nice stuff fellow New Mexican!
... why you gotta make me feel dumb for not knowing about the new Mexico?
Just yanking ya chain mate. Dont feel bad, there are alot of Americans that think New Mexico is some type of foriegn country. I dont know how many times I've been asked if they speak English and have running water and garbage like that in New Mexico.

I'm breaking balls too... when I was a kid, I went to the Philmont scout ranch in Cimmeron and spent 2 weeks hiking in the mountains there. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This is a pic of an old paster and my old lady. If you have keen eyes, you are able to see a 3 foot Rat Fink figure, an original Tony Hawk deck from '83 and some hot stomach.
Thanks for the school session on how to post, I will now bombard the site with mugshots.

Yeah brother. I have my favorites up in the house. The Punk Icons are in the office. And all the random ones are in the garage. I know I sound superficial, but theres nothing cooler then seeing the prints reflecting off of black paint when you cars are washed.
It's pretty neat when I have the garage open and people stop by to talk about the prints, I try and spread knowledge about the campain but they just look at me with a blank stare. The most common remarks are from the Obama print next.
I wouldnt feel confortable having prints in a garage ; the isolation mustnt be that great for humidity ? but hey maybe its not very humid in new mexico , what do i know ..

Not too humid here. We are what you would classify as a mountain dessert terrain. Very dry here.

What? People still use film?
Yeah I guess it shows my age. I'm still saving for a DSLR but for the time being, my film will have to be special ordered from some pack rat that still has some.
